Steve's success story is inspiring as much as it is entertaining. From having major record label success to starting his own independent label, authoring and recording hit songs and music videos including multiple number ones such as the Waitin' on Joe featuring actor Morgan Freeman, coping with throat surgery during the pinnacle of his career, touring with Bob Seger, starting a music festival and a the charitable organization, Steve Azar St. Cecilia Foundation all in the heart of the Mississippi Delta.

In addition to speaking at national events and conferences, Steve serves as the "Artist in Residence" at the Delta Music Institute (DMI) at Delta State University, home of the new Grammy Museum Mississippi. Down at the crossroads series

Steve has teamed up with Randy Harrington, Ph.D. and consultant for many major companies around the globe including Fortune 500 companies, for a one-of-a-kind performance experience that embraces the power of music and story to connect the past to the future we are building together. Crossroads is an interactive 90-minute performance experience that combines live original music, multi-media presentations, profound and funny storytelling, and zero PowerPoint slides. Participants will work through their own personal “Road Map” and dig into their own sense of intuition and values to determine what’s right and what’s next.
