The Mighty Mississippi Music Festival, co-fouded by Steve Azar, will announce the 2015 lineup on Thursday, April 30. The lineup will be announced from the Washington County Economic Alliance's Business After Hours at the Washington County Convention & Visitors Bureau. The Business After Hours event begins at 5 p.m. The Mighty Main Stage performers will be announced by Steve Azar and Jason Fratesi, and the Highway 61 Blues Stage performers will be revealed by Billy Johnson. The line up will also be shared with Official Mailing List, as well as Facebook and Twitter followers
The Mighty Mississippi Music Festival will be held during the first weekend in October (10/2/2015 through 10/4/2015). This will be the third year for the festival which is part of the Bridging the Blues project. Visitors from across the world have attended this new festival which is held at Warfield Point Park in Greenville, Mississippi. The festival will feature camping, tailgating, jumbotron for SEC football, music, shopping, local and regional food trucks, art, kids activities and much more.
The Mighty Mississippi Music Festival was voted as the Festival of the Year by the Mississippi Governor’s Conference on Tourism, ranked as a Top 8 Festival by VisitSouth.com and recently received the Greenville Arts Council’s “Special Achievement Award.”
